Mario Kunovec-Varga, Director General of Croatia Control, has been appointed as Vice Chair of the Europe Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) CEO Committee (EC3) for a two-year term.
CANSO Europe is the voice of air navigation providers (ANSPs) in the European region, representing the interests of the air traffic management community to regulators and key stakeholders.
“I am honored and aware of the great responsibility that comes with this role. As a member of the EC3 Chair Team, together with Mr. Arnt Schoenemann, EC3 Chair and DFS CEO, I am committed to working closely with all CEO members and making use of this unique platform for ANSPs to exchange views, work together, advocate our common interests and pursue our common goals. I understand that, given the challenging times we are living in, our task will not be easy, but I am convinced that with our common efforts, success will surely follow,” said Mario Kunovec-Varga, CCL Director General.
