The Croatian Defence Academy (CDA) delegation headed by Lieutenant General Slavko Barić, Commander of CDA, visited Croatia Control (CCL) today to discuss the possibilities for collaboration with Dragan Bilać, CCL’s Director General, and his associates.
The collaboration could be achieved through CDA’s lecturers and students who are enrolled in certain programs and courses visiting CCL, as well as CCL contributing to those programs and courses through lectures.
Following a general introduction to CCL’s business operation with the emphasis on civil-military coordination, the delegation visited the simulator for the training of air traffic controllers, the Zagreb Area Control Center (ACC), and the Zagreb ACC Technical Services Center.
During their tour through the Area Control Center, the delegation met the Ministry of Defence employees working in the Airspace Management Cell (AMC) and contributing to the flexible airspace management for the needs of civil and military airspace users.
The CDA delegation headed by Lieutenant General Barić included Colonel Miro Èolić, Vice Dean for Military Training, and Colonel Dražen Jožef, Head of the Office of CDA Commandant, while on behalf of CCL the meeting was attended by Mihajlo Jelisavčić, Director, ATM Division, Hrvoje Filipović, Director, Military Operations Division, and Vladimir Bračević, Executive Director of Zagreb FIR.
