Within the scope of the yearly user consultation plan, Croatia Control organized the Airspace Use Forum in the Republic of Croatia on September 30, 2023, at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences on Borongaj University Campus, Zagreb.
Informative presentations were held in the domain of sporting and recreational use of airspace, UAS activities, air traffic and airspace safety, and use of airspace from the users’ perspective. Apart from CCL’s lecturers (Toni Zlopaša, Borna Micelli and Bruno Čakarun), Zvonimir Šestan (aviation inspector, Croatian Civil Aviation Agency) and Oliver Biljman (paraglider pilot, “Krila Mirne” Aero Club) participated as well.
A discussion followed, where the public had a chance (live and via a web platform) to present the airspace users’ experience and point out open issues they encounter when conducting their activities.
All Forum participants will get a questionnaire, so that we can take into account all responses and suggestions, positive and negative feedback, when organizing the next event. Users’ questions will be answered later on.
We use this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences for their help in organizing the event as well as to our colleagues for their organizational and professional effort.
